 Reservations are only required for activities, workshops and visits led by a Foundation animator. 20 minutes south of Brussels, in the wonderful Solvay park, the Ferme du Château de La Hulpe houses the Fondation Folon. It presents more than forty years of creation, in a lively and original scenography imagined by the Belgian artist, Jean-Michel Folon (1934-2005). He opens the book of his life to us. Through the pages, the visitor discovers the multiple facets of his art and his universe among the 350 works on display: watercolors, serigraphs, engravings, posters, diverted objects, stained glass, sculptures and optical effects enliven an interactive journey: we enters a huge book, one enters the head of the Blue Man, one gets lost in games of mirrors, one discovers endless posters and the secrets of the artist's workshop, to end the journey under a myriad of stars. After your visit, stroll through the 227 hectares of greenery of the Solvay park, with varied landscapes, bordered by ponds and inhabited by remarkable flora and fauna.

The Hergé Museum invites you on a journey through the life of one of the greatest artists of the twentieth century ! Discover a comprehensive perspective via thousands of sources from and related to the work of Hergé. More than 80 original plates, and 800 photographs, documents and objects have been brought together under one roof. The building itself was designed and built within the picturesque green setting of Walloon Brabant, by the architect Christian de Portzamparc: a little like a Grail hidden within a sacred grove! The Hergé Museum is much more than your average museum: visitors travel deep within the life and work, the trials, tribulations, and astounding creativity of one man, and in doing so traverse the era in which he lived. The history of the Notre-Dame à la Rose Hospital takes us back in time since we owe its foundation to Alix de Rosoit, in 1242. This hospital will become a real place of asylum and care for the sick and the destitute of the city during its eight centuries of activity. A site recognized as a major heritage in Wallonia and Europe! Its cachet of exceptional heritage, the Notre-Dame à la Rose Hospital owes it in the first place to the quality of the building and its remarkable state of conservation. It is a witness to medical history with its beautiful garden of singles, its two patient rooms and its pharmacy. A discovery tour through 20 newly designed rooms tells the story of the life and evolution of hospitals and healthcare from the Middle Ages to the present day.

What happened before, during and after the sacking of May 14, 1794? Discover this Cistercian gem located in the Valley of Peace... In the 7th century, Maurosus, a notorious brigand, returns to settle on the scene of his misdeeds in the hope of seeing his faults redeemed. He converts to Christianity. He founded Aulne a few leagues from Lobbes and took the baptismal name Landelin. Initially Aulne is dependent on Lobbes and suffers from numerous invasions. In 1147, it became part of the Principality of Liège and became a Cistercian abbey, obeying the order of Clairvaux.From this period, Aulne-la-Riche entered into direct competition with Lobbes-la-Savante. Today, in the middle of nature, she exposes herself in front of you. Spend a day, a weekend, visit it, take the time to discover Aulne, its RAVeL along the water, its boat trips, its mini-golf, its many terraces on the banks of the Sambre.

Put into service at the dawn of the 2000s, the funicular lift of Strépy-Thieu is one of the most beautiful technological feats of modern Belgian civil engineering. Located at the heart of the European river network, this structure of titanic dimensions allows the new generations of inland waterway vessels to cross a 73.15 metre difference in height, making it the largest boat lift in Europe!

Tradition brewed with elegance Brasserie St-Feuillien was founded in 1873 by Stéphanie Friart, great-grand-aunt of the current owners, Benoît and Dominique Friart. In 2018, a new organization was put in place in order to consolidate the family and independent structure of the company, which Philippe Lenfant, CEO, now leads. With Ann Friart, the 5th generation is now on board. The Brewery continues to produce a wide range of beers, including the beers of the Abbaye St-Feuillien , the "Signature" products such as the famous Grand Cru and the Saison , without forgetting the Grisette , thus proving its desire to be rooted in the history of its region, to perpetuate the tradition of the land and to ensure its influence beyond the borders.

The Wallonia-Brussels Federation Center for Gravure and Printed Image, located in La Louvière, is a museum dedicated to engraving, a rare collection, original exhibitions and an active educational service! 40 minutes from Brussels, the Center de la Gravure is a multiple place of meeting, creation and research dedicated to contemporary printmaking. Its astonishing collection of 12,000 works by 1,640 Belgian and foreign artists testifies to the richness of modern and contemporary art since the second half of the 20th century. A documentation center, an engraving workshop, a conference and projection room allow all audiences to access the different facets of printed art. The educational service develops different adapted activities:guided tours, engraving workshops, educational kits, adult and children's courses, outdoor activities and long-term educational actions. Amateurs, collectors, students, families,… each public can learn about printmaking through original activities designed in close collaboration with the artists. For each exhibition , an active visit, a game trail, a creative workshop - choice and à la carte! The team at the Center de la Gravure's mediation service welcomes young and old and takes you step by step to discover the secrets and beauties of print.

Live the 18th century in the 21st! Welcome to the Age of Enlightenment From one day to the next, the 18th century at the Château de Seneffe means discovering the new scenography of the permanent collection of the Goldsmith Museum of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation in a fun and lively way. An exhibition that highlights the collections and allows visitors to live the "imagined" life of the lords of the Enlightenment, starting from an almanac. A place for walks, the Parc du Domaine du Château de Seneffe is also a site for outdoor contemporary art exhibitions , an event space where visitors are seduced by the bucolic landscape and the variety of events. For catering ,  treat yourself to a gourmet break attasting room of the château "Les Saveurs des Lumières".

 The Brussels Comic Strip Museum, located in a remarkable Art Nouveau building designed by Victor Horta, highlights the diversity of the Ninth Art. A vast program of temporary exhibitions brings visitors to discover the innumerable facets of comics, this art in constant evolution. His tour takes you through history, the stages of creation and the discovery or rediscovery of the heroes of paper. Several times a year, the museum offers large temporary exhibitions that highlight artists and works in particular.  Considered to be the largest and one of the most important photography museums in Europe, the Museum of Photography - Centre for Contemporary Art of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, has settled in 1987 in a former neo-Gothic CarmeliteConvent to which a dary architectural contemporary wing was added in 2008. Nestled in a 85 ares pa rk, the Museum has an exhibition space of more than 2,200 m² where photography reveals its artistic and technical diversity. Over 800 photographs taken from a rich collection of 80,000 photos and 3 million negatives, the permanent exhibition relates the history of photography from pioneers to nowadays in Belgium and around the world. In the cloister showcase, the collection of cameras recounts the history of the photographic equipment sorted by families, according to the evolution of its forms and its technical specificities (Snapshots, tropical, detectives, stereo, folding, box ...). Displayed in five dedicated rooms, fifteen temporary exhibitions explore each year all aspects of the medium in order to sketch a panorama of photography, in Belgium and internationally, in history and nowadays. Trough an educational approach, the Discovery Trail also accompanies young and old visitoir, every curious person along the photography adventure, from optical illusions to the photographer's language. Several associated services are also open to the public: The Library : open to amateurs, students and researchers. This specialized library displays up to 13. 000 titles (general works, monographs, technical treatises and journals) that can be consulted with free access on site. It is supplemented by a documentation centre. The Museum Café : a peaceful place to eat with a breathtaking view on the Carmelite park and the photographic decoration hung on the surrounding park walls. The Museum Shop where books and objects related to photography are carefully chosen. It also has a "Children's Corner".
